Tipton Litter Watch is an award winning community led environmental charity commissioned annually by Serco.
Whilst the charity is small with only two paid employees, Tipton Litter Watch’s strong partnerships with young people, the public and private sector, local and national businesses, the local community and individual schools enable its work to extend into all areas of the borough of Sandwell, covering the six towns of Tipton, Wednesbury, West Bromwich, Oldbury, Smethwick and Rowley Regis.
The charity’s award winning environmental and educational school's programme ‘Think Before You Throw’ works in partnership with young people, local schools and education centres across Sandwell to teach the importance of sustainability directly to young people (aged 5-18 years old) in Sandwell.
Our charity's belief is "one person can make a difference; and every person should want to try".
Please note 'Think Before You Throw' programme, awards, annual competitions and projects are copyrighted to Tipton Litter Watch.
In addition, from October 2011, Sandwell schools can also enjoy our new Eco Bus!!! Please email or call Tipton Litter Watch to request a visit free of charge to your school.
